Thursday 4pm - 9pm
Theatr Clwyd, Mold, CH7 1YA
Session 1 (recommended age range 10 – 13)4pm – 5pm
Session 2 (recommended age range 13 – 15) 5.15pm – 6.15pm
Session 3 (recommended age range 15 – 18) 6.30pm – 8pm
Rock, pop, funk, soul, blues mixed up to make new sounds and vibes! These sessions are aimed at young musicians interested in learning songs, creating their own arrangements and bringing their own ideas, improvisation and inspiration. Working with our team of talented professional tutors, you'll develop your instrumental and singing skills, learn to play in a band and have the chance to perform at Theatr Clwyd and in our local community.
Due to the nature of the group, we have limited places for each instrument, but we would love to hear from guitarists, bassists, keyboard/piano players, vocalists and drummers. You will need to have some experience but reading music or having taken exams is definitely not a requirement and there is a strong emphasis on playing by ear and improvisation.
To find out more, or if you would like to arrange to attend a session to try it out, please email darren.mathews@theatrclwyd.com
Membership is £25 per half term (around £4.40 per session) paid monthly by Direct Debit.
Membership covers all of our groups which means there is no extra cost to join more than one.
Information on support towards the cost of lessons and ensemble membership is available here.
